This past Saturday morning The BlogRollers were up and rollin’ early with about 30 other Atlanta bloggers and their families dining on doughnuts and watching dinosaurs. Yes, you read right – Doughnuts & Dinosaurs! On behalf of Everywhere and Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) we invited several Georgia bloggers to join us for a special advance screening of Jim Henson’s new show, “Dinosaur Train.” The fabulous group of diverse bloggers enjoyed a morning of crafts, train rides, face-painting and a special guest appearance by the star of the show, a lovable preschool-aged Tyrannosaurus Rex named Buddy.
“Dinosaur Train” is one of the many great shows that will air during GPB’s Dinosaur Week, September 13-18, an entire week of dinosaur-themed programming for all ages. The show starts Dinosaur week on September 13 with two special episodes at 9 AM and 10:30 AM (regular time slot weekdays at 8:30 AM). Some other highlights include PBS Kids favorites Curious George, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Barney and Friends and Sid The Science Kid running special dinosaur-themed episodes throughout the week; and the popular IMAX attraction, “Dinosaurs Alive!” airing on Wednesday, September 16 at 8 PM. Click the links to learn more about Dinosaur Week and “Dinosaur Train”. You can also follow GPB on Twitter, @GPBNews (we’re using the hashtag #GPBDinoWk when tweeting about this event) and friend them on Facebook.
Consulting on digital media campaigns was a natural next step for The BlogRollers given our professional backgrounds and love for social media. We’ll continue to keep you in the loop on all of our projects and look forward to involving “Rollers” as often as possible. Over the next few weeks leading up to Dinosaur Week we will continue to promote the event with more activities and some exciting giveaways including Family Four Packs to Imagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta, Six Flags tickets, Atlanta Braves tickets and other goodies that our Georgia readers might enjoy. And who knows, there just maybe a few more doughnuts in the mix, too!

How Fun! Wish I lived in Atlanta! I am taking my kids to the imax here to see it. My daughter studies dinosaurs last year in school and she is dinobsessed!
Hope you guys had a blast! My children are out of town, so I decided to sleep in instead of attending the showing. I will be tuning in to the show, since I'm gonna have a new little one.
Congratulations! Glad things went great!
So cool. I saw Renee's Whrrl video last night.
So glad that things are going well!
How exciting! I'm so looking forward to all that is going on.
