Engineer a Debt Free Life was started by my husband (an engineer) in 2008, around the time we really became serious about saving money and getting out of debt. Now, we both co-blog on the site. We help our readers save money (through freebies and deals) AND make money online (by getting paid to search the internet, take online surveys, view ads online, etc.). We only post legitimate / proven ways to make and save money.
What inspired you to start blogging?
I love finding freebies and bargains, and sharing them with others. I’ve also been doing paid online surveys for about 10 years now, and I enjoy helping others get started making money with online surveys. (Yes, it really is possible to get paid to take surveys online!)
How has blogging changed your life?
I have been able to meet lots of wonderful people online – our readers, as well as other bloggers. It is great to have these online friendships and connections. Also, I have saved so much money by researching all the freebies and deals. It’s amazing the stuff that’s out there, all for free!
What do you wish someone would’ve hipped you to when you started your blog?
I actually wish I knew about blogging years ago, that someone had explained blogging to me about 5 years ago. I would have started blogging sooner!
