The BlogRollers are all about promoting the power of female bloggers and so much of that starts with you. We’ve created our BlogRoll so that we could show you a little linky love and so that others can find you, too. Every week we choose one of you lovely Rollers (via Random.org) for Feature Friday. We believe in promoting and supporting one another and there’s no better way to do that than by shining the spotlight on as many fabulous blogs as possible.
With that said, this week’s Feature Friday blog is “Mommy? I’m Hungry!” Once you’ve read her feature, make sure to go show her some love!
Blog: My blog is “Mommy? I’m Hungry!”
How long you’ve been blogging: My blog just celebrated it’s 2nd year!
Tell us the 30 second skinny about your blog.
I blog about the recipes I make for my family, with lots of photos of that recipe. I also review products and host giveaways to keep things fun! Readers like to win things, right?

What inspired you to start blogging?
I wanted my own online recipe book, where friends and family can get recipes. Many years ago I had my family recipes on a website I made. After I tore that down for a remodel, that never happened, I began submitting recipes to a popular site. After having them rejected there, I thought I’d just post them myself, in a blog! Everyone I knew had their own personal blog, but I wasn’t into that. Instead I made a recipe blog. Well, I didn’t know everyone else had a food blog too! What a new world I had found! What keeps me inspired to blog, are new recipes to test myself in the kitchen.

How has blogging changed your life?
It has opened my eyes up to new foods and recipes I may have never tried on my own. I just recently got the courage up to make my own puff pastry (thanks to TWD)! I have met numerous other bloggers online, and have formed some new friendships with them!

What do you wish someone would’ve hipped you to when you started your blog?
How much time and effort it takes to keep your blog running! It’s like a part time job, without the pay. All the writing, photos, editing…if you enjoy blogging, then you make it fit in your schedule. lol. The dishes can wait, right?

Give us the dirt; what’s one thing about you your readers don’t know?
I am a shy and quiet person, especially around those I don’t know.
